  1. The top photo shows the front entrance of the Londonderry Arms with part of the licencee’s name. Paul Dunnill has identified the name as William Browell. He was landlord of the pub in the 1890s.

  2. The latter picture seems reminiscent of a N.Yorks village location. Ingleby Greenhow?, Kirby in Cleveland? Though that seems a longway from Stockton to propel a penny-farthing bicycle!
