The rear view of a derelict building down by the quayside, Stockton. Does anyone recognise the warehouse to the right of the photograph? Date unknown.
The “warehouse” on the right, appears to be an addition at the back of Wilsons store.
An aerial view of the High Street c.1960 on this site, shows the location of these modern extensions.
This building stood behind the customs house which was on the right at the bottom of Finkle Street it was like that in early the early sixties.

I don’t think so Bob…One car is a Hillman convertible, the other looks like a Standard 8 or 10, 8 I think as the 10 was a four door job.
Bob, it may indeed be a different car (this one has a soft top), but it’s the same passageway, look at the exposed window frame high up on the angled wall. Will we agree where it was? I’m with John Dee, and there seem to be plenty of photo’s on here that agree too. Who would of thought there would be so many pictures of this part of the quayside.

I can’t join in the argument as it was only a guess as to where it might be… Looking at the different views wouldn’t help me at all.
