A photograph taken c1982 of numbers 1-8 Finkle Street, Stockton. The view includes The Yorkshire Bank, Bryan Shaw’s, Graham’s and the Green Dragon Pub.
Our scout headquarters were on the opposite side of the street (20th Stockton) and we used to play quite a few scout games etc in the old alley ways next to the Green Dragon pub which was a printers at that time I think. Great days, the old custom house was at the end of the street along with a lot of bombed out or derelict buildings which we used to explore.
I think you will find that it is called-age. Please dont take this as to be of a detramental view to your good self,as I am a youngster at 64!However, I do agree that the workmanship is of worthy note, also I would like to concure that most so called signage is, to be frank, terrible.

Looks great, the old Stockton. A street I never liked when I was young and I don’t know why but looking at the photo I love it.
