My guess is he is from the Royal Irish Fusiliers, later amalgamated into the Royal Irish Rangers.
Your correct and the ‘tutor’ was Cpl Andrew Greggan of the Royal Irish Fusiliers. The photograph was taken January 25 1966 the piper is Brian Harris, above him is Eric Collins (supplier of the photograph) Richard Buckley and Douglas Landin – all with fingers in their ears. The Fusiliers were giving concerts at 4 Stockton school that week.
