This is indeed the same place, Theatre Yard looking out through Calverts Yard/Lane to the riverside. This area has changed again, the main building in the centre of the picture (The Cottage) has since had all it’s render removed, to show the brick and stone work, and the doorway has moved to be river facing. I wonder if that was the way it was originally and was returned as part of a restoration project?
Indeed it is, it’s the Old Theatre Yard.
