These photographs show the resident band and my father Cecil Jackson, more commonly known amongst the dance hall goers as Cecil Jack. I think these photographs were taken in the Jubilee Hall, Stockton c1950.

It was my favourite place on a Saturday night in the early 60s
In the late 50’s we abandoned the Maison for the Jube as we knew it as they had groups playing there. I remember bopping to Wee Willie Harris and Johnny Kidd and the Pirates.
I was there on both occasions, Dave, Vince Eager and Ricky Valance were others who appeared there.
