    Yes, the Lambton Castle has a distinctive top floor and roof. The roof has two pitched roofs side by side with two “balconies” underneath each. Which you can just make out above the traffic light.

The ladies dress-shop, or ’boutique’ called Rag n’Bone, shown next to The Talbot pub, I seem to recall, was owned by a girl called Jeannie Arrowsmith, whom I assume was related to the furniture showroom and removal specialists in Stockton, of the same name. Jeannie was on the Fashion Design course at Middlesbrough Art College, at the same time I was a student there during the mid-60’s. I wonder what happened to her after this shop closed?

  3. I am not sure but you could be right on the Lambton Castle. If you look closely there is a Bass sign outside. I think the food bar that is between Munroes and the Direct shoes ltd is infact Petes snack bar or was Petes…
