Lived here happily for 33 years, would love to know the history of our house. Two children, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren later, we are unperturbed by sightings and sensations of a now friendly presence that our pet dogs brought to our notice in odd ways. We don’t want to move but eventually as we become older, it is more difficult to keep up with a large house, even though we thought we would never leave. We don’t know how to go about filling those gaps of history of our home in Yarm Road. Even after living in Stafford Street which was compulsory purchased and moving to Norton in 1971, we returned to Parkfield in 1987, I reckon somehow drawn to return here. Possibly in ones seventies you need answers?
Geoff, If you look in the search box for Richard Hind Juniors you will see that David (Tich) Hooton is looking for you. Picture Stockton will have his E Mail address.

Yarm Road. The road I used to live in.
I’m looking for any old photos of 54 Yarm Road directly next door to what would of been the girls school. Does anyone have any?
I lived in St Peters Road and went to school at Oxbridge Lane crossing Yarm Road at Northcote Street
1954 to 1957

Thank you. I will look for Dave. I’m in New Zealand at the moment may be home later this year or early next.
I lived very close to the Methodist church in Woodland Street from 1955 until 1967.
