Who would have thought that in 2013 Ramsgate Street off Stockton High street would look so run down and scruffy. Lets hope things can be better when the main high street is finished.
Yeah was great,used too work in the Red Lion next door and go and get a sarnie after closing time. I used too get a pork and stuffing and he would pile it up with what he had left, I used too get sausages steak, anything that was left for £2
As a child I remember my dad being active in the Royal Navy Association Club which I think was in Ramsgate. I was doubly blessed as he worked at ICI and both the RNA and ICI took us to the pantomime each year. We also got a selection box of chocolate bars (the bars were a lot bigger than they are today).
