Thornaby 608 Squadron reunion at the RAFA (Royal Air Force Association) Club, September 1976. Can anyone identify the men in the photograph?
I’m interested in learning more about 608 squadron , are the gentlemen in the photo all aircrew?
tall guy back middle is Genna Menhenet. 4th from left kneeling is Reginald Bulmer.(my dad) back row 10th from left small guy with glasses is Mick Hindmarsh
Small guy on right with glasses resting his hand on paper work, I believe is my dad Neil McCourt….

Kneeling front left is Charles Chesney . I didn’t know that he served with 608 but he was a commissioned officer in the Royal Air Force and for a time in the 1950’s was based at RAF Butterworth in Malaya and eventually rose to the rank of Squadron Leader . He was also the civilian committee treasurer with 266 (Stockton) Squadron ATC throughout the 1970’s and 80’s and was a recipient of the MBE .
I believe the gentleman kneeling at the far right may have been one of the 608 pilots but I cannot recall his name ?
I believe the tall guy, back centre, is William (Bill) Foster. My Uncle
