My brother was in the D.L.I. for several years, I remember cycling from Stockton to Brancepeth near Durham and visiting him and my Dear Sister-in-Law that was, in their married quarters.
Not a great many years after that it was disbanded.
Private John William Dixon was in A Company 5th Battalion Durham Light Infantry and went to Flanders with the Battalion April 1915.
