Special guests stand during a ceremony for the Queens Royal Visit, Stockton c1956.
The two people standing second and third from the right are my Uncle and Aunt, Eric and Vera Wiseman. Eric was Mayor of Stockton sometime in the 50s but I can’t remember when.
The person on the extreme left front row looks like a rather young father Thornton of St Josephs parish church Norton. He would often be seen cycling around the parish on an old bone shaker of a bike.
