I received this photograph from a friend, her late husband Peter is on the top row, first on the left side and
was taken at Oxbridge School. Does anyone know if the photograph was taken during some kind of celebration as they all seem to be wearing medals?

It could well be the medals given to all school children in 1925 by the then Mayor of Stockton Cllr L Ropner, to commemorate the Centenary of the Stockton & Darlington Railway. I have one but can’t find it, however if you google the above it may well come up if not there is one at Preston Park in the museum which I visited recently during my visit to the area to see what colour the ribbon was.
