The Girls’ Life Brigade was formed in England in 1902, it was introduced by the National Sunday School Union. These two photographs show the Girls Life Brigade with my mother Mary Hughes c1954.

I was a member of the Girls Life Brigade in about 1962. It was a good group to belong to. Our meetings were at a Baptist church on Hardwick Estate.
I’d never seen these photos before, they were obviously taken after I left the GLB. thanks for putting them on Ian.
