What a filthy lovable place !
Behind the Joiners shop at Head Wrightsons was the old Richardson Ducks shipbuilding yard. There was a slipway where they dismantled ships for scrap. There were young lads there working in that mud and just for peanuts money. I made my oilstone box from a mahogany handrail from one of those ships.
