My wife discovered this photograph recently. The small white haired lady is Mrs Gray from Portrack but unfortunately doesn’t recognise the other lady. Can anyone help?
The building behind them is Bailey Street School, Bath Lane, Stockton.

Hi Ken just been told Mrs Gray lived in end house in Lambert Street — was grandma to Freddie — Ronnie Barbara Lilian coundn’t remember the name of the lady with Mrs Gray
I am researching my family tree. My dad’s name was Arthur Rowntree, born 1920, he had quite a few siblings, one named Freddie/Freddy. Dad’ parents were Francis and William and they lived in Ann Street. Could your mate be the same Freddie or perhaps some relative ? I would be grateful for any information. Only spent term or two at Bailey St before moving from Portrack to Norton – however wonderful teacher Mrs Green Best teacher I had
