Mr Holmes was my geography teacher at Grangefield Grammar girls school, Miss Dairmid was my needlework teacher at the same time, about 1956/57, remember them both.
Mr Holmes was the geography teacher at Stockton Grammar School in 1961-66 during my time there. A superb teacher, one of my better subjects. I think he left after that to take up the headship at Frederick Nattrass.
