I worked at ICI Billingham and also worked on the P3 at this time which would be 1975 not 1985.
Geoff, the loco in the backgound on the second pic is an ICI loco built by the Yorkshie Engine Company with a Rolls Royce C type diesel engine.
The bottom photo looks like Thornaby Loco Shed with a view of a Drury shunter through the window
