A group of students at William Newton School, Norton. Does anyone recognise them?
One in the center with the big grin is Joan Berryman and directly behind her is Margaret Pool.
I would think it was taken in the fifties, they are stood outside the gym .
A very sunny spot, we used to try and revise there at exam time.
The girl furthest right with the black skirt could be Pat Harkness, lived in Ragworth Road, Norton. If so the dating of this group would be approx. 1949-50. She being 15 yrs old and in the last year at school.
