I AM JOHN QUIN, I AM IRISH AND WORKED IN HAVERTON SHIP YARD, BACK IN 1954 I USED TO TO STOCKTON MARKET AND HAVE A CHAT WITH WEIGHT MAN A NICE CHAP, I MET IAN GRAHAM THERE AND LATER YEARS IAN PAINTED A FEW PICTURES FOR ME, NOW THAT I AM 84 YEARS I WILL BE LOOKING FOR BUYERS OF IANS ART, AND A FOUNDER MEMBER OF THE HARDWICK SOCIAL CLUB IN HARROGATE LANE STOCKTON WITH ALBERT THOMAS.   2. This old gentleman was part of Stockton life on market days, come rain or shine, I would dearly love to obtain a print of this painting if at all possible, anyone know how this is possible.

  3. Jack at one time lived in the big house on the roundabout on Durham Road just past Durham road hospital. I once had a picture of Stockton castle painted by Iam Graham. Ian was a really nice man and a good friend. Ians brother was deaf and made very nice dolls house. I bought one for my daughter. A very talented family.

    • I seem to recall that Jack would guess your weight before weighing you. He would give or take a few pounds and if he was over guessing you had a free weighing.
