The oil tanker London Majesty was built by Furness Shipbuilding Co. Ltd in Haverton Hill for London and Overseas Freighters Ltd.
It was launched 26th February 1952, and completed 26th June 1952.

I did my first trip as jur. eng. on this vessel. I joined her in CEUTA on 1.12.63, and was on board till 14.5.63.
Most of the voyage’s where from Russia to Cuba with oil.
During this time we had a few adventures.
Worked on it while serving my time at the yard, built several for the same owners London Greeks.
Great photo. I notice one of the tugs looks like it may be a paddle boat.
My father Thomas Hardy was the charge hand plumber on this ship.
