This used to be the lovely stroll to the Fox Covert pub with views across to Roseberry Topping. The house in the snow is still there, the other one was demolished to build on.

Nice photos of High Leven from years gone by. We used to bike it to Leven from Thornaby for fishing and swimming. The Fox Covert was the Half Moon in those days always in memory it was nice hot sunny days. Great days to be young
And ingleby barwick was then pronounced ingleby barrack, the now named ‘the Manor’ // ‘the Yorkshire dragoon’ was then ‘The New Inn’
