ICI apprentice school, I was the first intake of new apprentices in 1956.
No not the apprentice school on Belasis Avenue, that’s not as large as this building and too much grass in the photo to be that. I served time there too!
At first I thought this was one of the ICI Research Works labs but I’m pretty sure it is the Agricultural Division Restaurant as seen from the ‘works side’ rather than from it’s frontage onto Belasis Avenue? Sadly I also seem to think it has been demolished now too?
I agree David, I too think its the staff canteen/restaurant near the club. They served a juicy a steak in there lol
