My Grandfather George Anderson was a member of the Club he spent many hours down there.
My dad was born in Thornaby Place he and his brother Tommy had a boat called the Phyra? when they were adults. I remember there was a boathouse for members of the boat club to use.
My Dad lived in Thornaby Place as a child and his mother was called Jane Bennington before she married.
The boat in the foreground looks very much like my Dads boat Telstar, does anyone have any similar photos to share?
