  1. What a fantastic photograph! My dad would take me down to the river around this period after shopping in the Saturday High Street market.

  2. Well done Julie, your photos are always well worth looking at. I left Head Wrightsons in the summer of 1961. I cycled over the bridge every day that you can see in the background and the riverside has changed dramatically since the rather worn-out look of my teenage years. I keep promising my wife (a Londoner) that I would bring her up to Stockton for a visit. Perhaps I will make it in 2019. But Julie, if you have any more of these memorable pictures please share them with old codgers like me.
