Thanks Bryan.
I remember the games in the court and especially the one when Ken Lyons put his knee cap out.
I still look up the match reports for the Borough and Stockton games.
Seasons Greetings to all.
Thanks Allan, merry Xmas to you and yours and a happy and healthy new year.
Barry Chambers the goalkeeper later played for a very good Head Wrightsons team in the Teesside League.
Nice to see the photo again. Unfortunately I lost Maurice six years ago.
The photo brings back some great memories.
Sorry to hear about “Moss”, but glad you’re still kicking! Take care Allan.
My apologies – Front row center, with the ball is Brian Wastell.
We lived next door to the Wastells in Fairfield Close

I remember football games on the court, could be dozens a side!
I was at this school then but only remember John Metcalf and Paul Stewart. Some good memories.
I am the same age as John Thompson’s younger brother Arthur. John, Arthur and I were among the boys of all ages who had mass games of football in Bishopton Court.
I played in those games as well even though I lived in Oxbridge as I was mates with all the Fairfield guys through school & playing on the school teams. There was Wazzy, Kenny Lyons, “Chippy” Chipchase (Trinity I think), the Emerson’s & a whole bunch more.
