Just seen that my cousin Eddie Coates is in this picture. His parents ran Reltons off licence on corner of Yarm Lane and Skinner Street.
I remember it like yesterday although it is 65 years ago and I wonder how many of that class are still with us.

Mr Kitching (Ray) was reputed to be fond of the French teacher Miss Covell (Val). I’m not sure it went anywhere.
Ken Rowbotham ended up working in the same R&D labs as me in Widnes and lived the other side of Warrington to us. He was in the 6th when I was in the 1st form.
