Two wonderful photographs study closely the Lady Knights in the first picture, and the faces and national pride evident amongst those gathered in the second picture then switch your thoughts to England, England, England. And whilst on the subject may I add isn’t Stockton on Tees a leading premier small city in England with all that that entails?
I don’t recognise that shot with the kids. Went to Newtown. Lived in Londonderry Rd. Can anyone enlightened me
It is in front of the caretaker’s house , Durham Road in the background.
They are stood in the playground in front of the house that is at the Durham Road end of the site. (I assume this was originally lived in by somebody who was linked to the school? the caretaker perhaps?) The houses in the background are on the other side of Durham Road (No.58 – 68), with the corner of Londonderry Road on the left and the corner with Dundas Street just out of shot on the right.
