This photo clearly shows my Grandparents home. It is the one with the Bay Windows with three cars parked outside. The house was named Richmond House and consisted of 87 – 89 High Street. They also owned the adjacent house known as Tanfield House.If the date is correct the photo was taken the same year my Grandfather died and is the last time that I had access to the house. I have many happy memories of playing as a child in this large rambling old house.
