This shows the church after it was "re-ordered" in the mid 1960s. Most of the Victorian style furnishings were removed at that time. The altar rail is a Mouseman Thompson piece, as are the pews and pulpit (not seen in this view). The choir stalls you can see are Victorian remnants. Apart from the altar frontals, this is how the church looks today.
I have been searching for a picture like this to be aware of how it looked in 1892 when my granddad, James Brett married his wife, Martha Ann Burr. She was 19 and he was 20 and they lived in Portrack Street at the time.
