My grandad Robert Casey was a heaters lad working with the riveters at Ropners & Sons, he left to join the K.O.S.B 1912-18. He was living at 9 Housewife lane, his father and brother were Quayside workers.
My great great grandad worked at Ropners shipyard in 1901. He lived in Union Street. In the 1901 I found that the majority of men in the street worked in ship yard. Does anyone have any information
