  1. The Wellcome Library holds all the papers of Dr M’Gonigle – in no fewer than 17 boxes and 4 oversized folders. The connection can be made through Google. Dr M’Gonigle’s public health work was important in the 20s and 30s.

  2. I am producing a world premiere of a new play documenting the work of Dr M’gonigle in September 2012 to run initially for a week at the Georgian theatre in Stockton. I am a Stockton resident and professional theatre and film producer and director and I am working with local screenwriter and playwright Jeff Williams to develop the piece. We have met with Susan Mclaurin and have access to the One Man’s Story, indeed we are thinking about screening it as part of the performance, but we are still keen to identify any musings about George and Dotty his wife that anyone may have, to aid in our character development and give the play some local colour. I would be delighted to hear from, or meet with, anyone who may have something to contribute to the development of this piece. The Picture Stockton Team can provide my email address.
