I went to this school in the early 70s. I must have left around 1973 I guess.
We lived in Roseberry View.
My last teacher was Miss Harrison and we were located in the huts.
I remember Mrs Grey the head mistress who had 2 small dogs (sausages I vaguely recall) that she used to bring to school. A teacher called Mrs Grey started there and so the head mistress was then known as Mrs Howard.
I remember a Mrs Hazelwood.
Kids who were in my class included (I think), Deborah Cunningham, Julie Wright, Gary Berlinson, Gary Lamb, Peter Elliot, Anthony Todd, Tony Ruddock, Keith Roberts, and Maneer Mohamad & Atif something (excuse the spelling).
We used to get our little bottles of milk each day.
I used to be a parent governor when Mrs Begley was there before she moved to Myton Park Primary school. I use to organize the christmas panto with Aileen (school secretary), Mrs Anderson and few others. Also used to sort out summer Christmas and Easter Fayre. A great time was had by everyone.
I attended this school from 65 to 68. I remember a Mrs Frosdick, Miss Francis and Mrs Bielby. My earliest memories include dancing by the stage to old Beatles records along with my classmates…as dancing alone would be daft!
Anyone else have similar memories ?
I used to go to that school but now I am in TCS and I am in yr 8. I can remember before when you used to hand out Teddy Awards if the teacher thought that you have been good all week they used to give you one. I can remember before if your class had the best atendance you used to get the class teddy all week until the next assembly and then it used to be given to the next class who got the best attendance.

This was my infant school it was a nice place. I remember Mrs Foxton who was also my Browie Brown Owl if my memory serves me, I used to love art classes in the hutts? I remember tripping in the playground being taken into the class then falling and cracking my head open on a table thus landed me being in Stockton Thornaby Hospital for stitches circa 1972
