FLINT MCCULLOUGH,YOU WERE A FRIEND OF MY BROTHER MAURICE [MOT] I ALSO WORKED WITH YOUR MOTHER ROSIE AT CROSSLEYS SHOWROOMS.I KNOW YOU WENT TO AMERICA TO LIVE AND REMEMBER YOUR MOTHER OFTEN VISITED YOU THERE.ARE YOU STILL IN THE GOOD OLD U.S.A.
These photos fascinate me. I never went to Oxbridge School, I went to St. Cuthberts but lived in Oxbridge as a youngster on Suffolk St. so I recognize the faces of lots of these folks. In fact the lad second from the right in the second row is John Todd who used to live next door but one from me. He and I always vied for “best runner” in our street. He usually won! I usually represented “Cuthy”s” in the town races while he represented Oxbridge. It seems to me the races were held on the Victoria Ground each year at the bottom of our street. Boy, what a rivalry that was!!
