Where abouts in the high street was this chapel please? What stands in its place now? I have been told there was a chapel on bishop street where the car park is now. Are there any photos of it?
To the best of my knowledge this stood at 155 High Street, the Globe now stands on the site. Prior to the Globe existing there were 5 addresses (153-158) the Unitarian Chapel shut down and reopened on St Johns street which became Wellington Street. Hope this helps.

Details on an 1857 map say it could seat 200.
