I think she must have been the lady I always knew as Mrs Fisher. An Irish lady who was so nice. I last spoke to her in my teens and she loved life. I lived in St Peter’s road until I was 4 but regularly went back as my Uncle and Godmother still lived there.
I am not sure if you saw the photo that was in the site?
My mum only knew Kathleen (Kitty) when she was a child and never knew her mother, Kathleen’s sister. They were from Ireland. We found out years later that Kathleen lived on that street but she had died. Her neighbour had some old photos that had belonged to Kathleen that we had never seen. There was a photo of a lady on this site who looked so like my mum we wondered if it was Kathleen but we’re not able to find out. If you haven’t seen it I wonder if I can send to you?
It would be so good to know as we have been wondering all this time of it was Kathleen. Thank you so much for responding.
Hello the photo is in the group of Billingham Junction Townswomens Guild. The lady we are wondering about is on the third on the left with a cup in her hand.
Many thanks
