Dear old St Mary’s Norton. I was born just yards away in Milner Road. Nurse Knight was the local midwife. That was October 1928. I have seen a lot of changes since then. The Vicar I knew best was Canon Stirt who took us for Sunday School. I would love to hear the Sunday morning bells again and enjoy the style of life of those days.
