Do you remember ordering your coal at the Co-op coal department in Leeds Street?

I am not local but my mother and all her family lived in Stockton. If the building has altered what happened to the wonderful art deco CO-OP sign at the top of the shop? It certainly should have been rescued.

This shop was on the right hand side when you entered Leeds Street from Bishopton Lane,to the left of this photo was a back alleyway, then the Jubilee Hall.
