The Malleable Iron Works had a good record of sporting achievements in the early 1900s. The players are from left to right: Back row – A. Johnson, L. Jenkins, R. Wilberforce, J. Bielby, W. Miller, R. Franklin. Front row – R. Hooper, C. Adams, J. Chesser (Vice Capt), Frank Hauxwell (Capt), C. Fountain, J. Ness. Does anybody know anything about the Furness League – it seems to have been quite important judging by the size of the trophy.
