  1. I am fairly sure that this was the teacher who turned on me as an eight year old when I advanced the view that men were better than women. My reasons, men worked I said. She jumped down my throat, almost shouting “what about the worker bees”, who even then I knew to be female. Am still suffering from the trauma!

  2. A very interesting photo because I also attended that school at the same time. Because I don’t possess any photos of my own from those days I cannot compare but I think I might be the one standing 3rd from the right. I certainly remember Geoffrey Sanderson’s name.
    We would have been in the same class through the school until the parting of the ways following the 11 plus year. Derek went on to Grammar School, as I remember he was the only one to do so from the school. I went to Tilery Boys and I’m not sure where Geoffrey went to.

  3. It sure looks like me in the back row fifth from the right. The lad next to me (fourth from right) is probably Geoffrey Sanderson. I would love a copy as my recollections of this time of my life are almost non existant. I still live in Stockton.
