I agree, are there any more photographs of the old railway. I did a web search and found some interesting facts about the railway, but there is not a lot in the way of present day content.
Absolutely Ken, it is a shame. I have never known why such an historic site, the worlds first passenger railway, can be left in such a neglected state with very little to show for it. Does anyone know if there are plans to improve this site?
Is this the only memory we have in Stockton of the Stockton to Darlington Railway. Shame
