I’m sorry to disappoint every one the pub is been closed down for good. Whoever ends up owning this building cannot open it as public house anymore – no doubt it will end up a charity shop lol
Nice pub ! Used to go there with my father Paul O”Connor in the sixties. We”d walk down the town from Newham Grange via Browns Bridge for a haircut ,then pop in for a pint or two. Other favorites were The Vane Arms and The Royal Oak. We”d take the # 5 bus back though !
Please no name change “to be with it” “Reindeer” over the last 100 years , we saw what happened in the 70s when “With It” names failed and had to re vert Eg “Crosby” back to “Fairfield” is one example of many at that time
Anyone able to tell me when this was extended back at the rear to claim the adjacent buildings on Exchange Yard?

It has changed a lot this pub now, my sister owns it.
