Thirlwell & Co were THE photographers on Teeside, the quality of their work has endured for over a century. These two portraits of my Grandparents, Ann & Joeseph Kidd, are still in excellent condition. I wonder if todays prints will last as long? One thing is certain I will not be here to judge.
