This is a class photograph sent to us by Ian Russell who remembers the school was on Chapel Road in Billingham but cannot name it – can you?
This was the Infants School which was a part of the Billingham Church of England School, located on Billingham Green. I attended the school on the green from about 1945 to 1950. Miss Liverseed was the teacher at the Chapel Road school at that time. My brother Bill Dallison attended the Chapel Road school for a time in the late 1940s.
I forgot to include the date for this picture, which is 1951/52. The school buildings are still there but are now a Youth Centre.
Far left on back row is me, Ian Russell. The teacher is Miss Liverseed (Headmistress). I do not know anyone elses names and hope to find out who they are.
I’m sure Paul Wanley is middle row 2nd from left and Barry Cook centre middle row with Dennis Ensley? middle row 4th from right.
