My gran and grandad lived in Parliament St many years ago, he had the barbers, his name was Billy Warriner, does anyone remember him?
I too am looking for old photos of Parliament street. My Great Grandmother lived at No 79 Parliament Street in 1887. She was Elizabeth Wilson (widow) formally Ornsby. She married John Turner Robinson in June that year and continued to live there with her husband and stepchildren. My Grandmother was born in the house and the family were still there on the 1891 census.
Does anyone have any pictures of Parliament Street before this work took place please. Looking for around number 36 area where my mum used to live?
