I can see a lot of faces I can recognise but because of the order they are in it is hard to define them. One in particular on the front row 3rd right is called Tommy Hill. He was a joiner who served his time for Ronnie Lee. At that time he lived in Centenary Crescent. In later years (late 50’s) he worked with me at Head Wrightsons at Thornaby.
To name just a few as follows:- Far left with the open mac and flat hat Billy (Eagling) Mole. He had the cycle shop nearto the George&Dragon. F/1st Left. My father Bob Irwin, B/1st Left. Harry Malthouse. B/3rd Left. Sid Price. B/4th Left. Ronnie Lee. Front row, middle wearing light suit and flat hat, Dickie Barnes (He is the father of Lennie Barnes named on this site as a welder with Head Wrightsons and footballer and athlete with Richard Hind.) Looking over his right shoulder is Bobby Walker.
