This former methodist church in Wolviston was built as a Wesleyan chapel in 1829. The building was closed in 1979, and was given a Grade II listing in 1985. Photograph taken c1950s.
The old Wesleyan chapel has been renovated this year and is now a modern boarding establishment for cats.
We have been very sympathetic within the renovation to the history of the listed building
And would be grateful of any historic photos or archive material to put together some sort of story as to this fantastic buildings past. My email address is available through Picture Stockton.
