Ahh, the good old days, we need them back!
The Stockton Corporation Transport Leyland Atlantean is on the 9A service which together with the 9 went to Hardwick Estate. The growth of the estate in the late 1950s and early 60s and the busyness of this bus service had led to the need for more capacity, leading to the buying of Atlanteans by Stockton Corporation a couple of years before the picture.

I bet there are plenty more of these sort of pictures gathering dust in various cupboards and attics etc.
