  1. Does anyone remember the Miss Pinkneys (sunday school teachers) Gladys and Elsie also took the junior youth club at Brunswick? Happy memories of going afterwards to Roberts Fish and chip shop and sharing a bag of chips…

    • Unfortunately I have only just seen this post.
      I certainly remember the Pinkneys very well. Always cheerful, never missed a service! Their singing was also very prominent (just not sure about the key!). Lovely ladies!

  2. Apparently John Wesley first visited Stockton in 1748 and again in 1751 when he found that the society had more than doubled since his first visit. He made several visits after 1751.
