I can remember going there every Saturday morning with my nana (Lilly stoves) then into sparks for my custard pie treat, happy days.

I used to work in the butchers on a Saturday morning, cleaning the freezer, washing the chopping tables and delivering orders to customers by the bone shaker bike…happy days
I used to go to Cleveland School and we would often pop out at lunchtime to get cakes from either the Co-op or a little cake shop in the same road.
I use to go there shopping every Friday for groceries for my mam , after dinner in my lunch break from school. The cake was SPARKS, and we had a CHEMIST where Melvin hairdressers is now those were the days.
